I'm the one in the dress. And holding a gun.

I was born in North Carolina, the daughter of a Marine Corps Harrier pilot. We moved around a lot. I graduated from the University of Georgia followed by The Creative Circus advertising school in Atlanta. I pursued my career across the country - working for 15 years in the ad industry as a creative at some of the best agencies. Then I had kids - 3 boys in two years to be exact. I wanted to stay home with them a while. - often a career ending move.

 

However I remained an art director and occasional writer. Over the past several years I've had the pleasure of helping a female entrepreneur launch her business and develop her marketing strategy. I helped rebrand local businesses. And turned my own illustrations into apparel.

So I'm still at it. I just had a wardrobe change.
Now I'm the one in the mom jeans.
